As I just so happen to be in the area, I thought that I would pay a flying visit to the Ace Cafe for their Ace Cafe Hot Rod meet. This was a relatively small gathering of not just hot rods, but American muscle and rides in general.

Summer had finally arrived and what better way than to enjoy the lovely sunshine than with a good old classic car show. Once again Classics on the Common returned to the Hertfordshire village of Harpenden,

Xlerate was born from the Modified Car and Cruising scene many years back and the last time that we ventured out to a cruise was back in 2009 to the Revenge Cruise, which coincidently in the past couple of days popped up again on our radar. “Hmm what’s this I see? A local convoy point? Ahh go on then, why not, for old times’ sake?”

Having been to the first two Dunstable Cruises, were we expecting bigger and better things for the thrid installment when it was announced.

It’s hard to believe that we are in May already and with that it is now time for Classic and Retro car owners to start thinking about removing those car blankets, wheeling out their pride and joys from their places of hibernation

So another year has passed and that can only mean one thing, the return of the traditional Boxing Day classics meet in Sarratt. Not allot to say here really other than following on from the cancellation of last year’s event we were glad to see it return this year with a very good turnout.
