With a full entries list of 150 for this Golden Jubilee event, the Dukeries MC had organised yet another cracking day of rallying which was based in and around the forest of the Mansfield area. But the day did not go without its fair share of moments.

Stage one, Thieves Wood started off with a small incident involving a spectator that was getting a little too close to the action than perhaps he should have, this did caused a short delay to proceedings but no serious injuries and all was back on track rather smoothly. Previous BTRDA round 4 (The Plains Rally) winner, Hugh Hunter in his Focus WRC went out on SS4 Clipstone South 1 with a small fire, Crowd pleaser Andy Burton who was also on for a good result went out with a reported drive shaft problem on the exact same stage. Plains runner up Will Nichols in the Impreza WRC went out rather early on SS2 Portland 1 with engine problems. Damian Cole in a Hyundai Accent WRC kept the pressure on coming home in second just 21 seconds behind Perez and 6 seconds ahead of third place Charlie Payne on the EVO WRC.
