The Rally Of The Midlands is a compact sealed surface rally that brings rallying up close and personal to the spectator. Bring motorsport right to the heart of the Midlands offering a variety of rally cars and stages, from Mallory Park Circuit, Stately homes to Hinckley town center.
A more compact two day only event this year, compared with the three of last year, but still a great event to experience, even if the weather was somewhat wet. Full credit to the organizers for a top event. |

Our second visit of the year to the Mansfield area was for the Dukeries Rally. Organise by the Dukeries Motor Club this was a cracking compact rally with classic stages in the area such as, Blidworth, Clipstone, Sherwood Pines and Portlands.
With a good entry and a real mixed field of 1400's, modern and a handful of historics the rally went very well from a spectators point of view. We even had time to pop along to the service park for a wonder about.
