The Chris Wheeler Rallying team are soon to be back on the stages, the next stop on their calendar is the Carryduff Forklift Down Rally held in Northern Ireland In County Down. This rally will be Chris & Shaun’s first time competing in Ireland together so this is going to be a big experience. The event has eleven stages covering up to fifty five stage miles through the narrow lanes, this event is not for the faint hearted, crews will have to tackle jumps, tight hairpins, blind crests & much more.

The event is based at Balmoral Park, where there is also a spectator stage within the grounds. Also the rally has four closed road stages which get repeated to make up to eleven stages. Chris will be aiming for another top result in their class & will push as high up the overall standings as possible. Since their last event on the Isle Of Man the team’s DS3 R3T has had a complete check through, every nut & bolt on the car has been checked & is now ready to be unleashed onto the stages.

Chris & Shaun will be going through pre event pacenotes in the next couple of weeks in order to go through the stages by disk to make adjustments to suit, as well as doing a wheel change practice, this session gets done before every rally in case of punctures, hard work pays off.

You can keep up to date with Chris & Shaun’s progress by following our social media channels.

We wish the boys & team the best of luck, we will be watching!
